You will see the first effect of the remedy in 1-2 hours after using it, and it will disappear after 6-8 hours. You can use it every 6-8 hours. However, the total daily dose must not exceed 36 mg, and it depends on your health condition and personal susceptibility to the treatment.
The drug will be absorbed differently depending on the form (pills or capsule) and the way of taking it (with food or while you have an empty stomach). Ask your doctor which way is the best for you because everything depends on your disease.
Possible Side Effects
The drug can lead to the beginning of drug addiction, especially after using it during a long period or with too high doses. In these cases, sudden discontinuation can lead to a possible “withdrawal syndrome” which includes anxiety, tremors, increased blood pressure, increased heart rate and severe muscle tension.
In some cases the following side effects may appear:
Weakness and fatigue.
If any of these symptoms persist for a long time inform your doctor about this immediately. You can suck lollipops (without sugar) or ice chips, chew sugarless gum, drink water or use saliva substitutes if you have a desire to reduce the dryness of the mouth.
Remember that your doctor has prescribed this medication because the benefit considered by its intake is more important than the risk of possible side effects. Many patients, who have received treatment with this drug, did not have serious side effects.
