Abilify is a well-known oral medication taken by patients to treat certain mood and mental disorders, including schizophrenia, bipolar disorder, irritability related to autistic disorder, etc. Sometimes, doctors prescribe it in the right combination with other drugs to treat depression. Abilify belongs to a group of meds called antipsychotics, and it works by helping patients store their balance of neurotransmitters in the brain. This medicine works by reducing hallucinations and improving people’s concentration, thus, letting them think more positively and clearly while feeling less nervous. This treatment is also suitable for treating serious mood swings and decreasing their frequency.

Basic Instructions on Its Proper Use

Take Abilify by mouth, both with and without meals, and most doctors advise to do it once a day. The right dosage must be prescribed based on individual response, medical condition, age and other factors. To avoid the risk of having possible side effects, it’s advisable to start taking Abilify in lower doses that can be gradually increased. In general, it takes about a few weeks to experience its full benefit, but you need to use it on a regular basis.

Possible Serious and Mild Side Effects
